Once you have been approved, a 4 week security bond is required prior to moving in. The bond will be refunded once you have completed your contracted leasing term subject to the room and furnishings being in the same condition as they were upon occupation. Normal wear and tear will be taken into consideration. The security bond cannot be used to settle rental towards the end of your stay.
Please Note: By Queensland law, all security bonds must be lodged with the Residential Tenancies Authority.
The complex is fully fenced with security gates and 24 hour digital infra-red security surveillance system. Each individual room is secured by unique key access. This same key also accesses all community areas. All units have security screen doors and windows.
Food catering is not available however all rooms have access to kitchen facilities and it is only a short walk to the supermarket and various restaurants and cafés.
Yes, friends can ask for rooms in the same unit and this request will be met – subject to availability.
We cannot guarantee a share unit will be occupied by only male of only female students however if you request this at the time of application we will endeavour to accommodate the request.
If you want to be guaranteed a male/female only unit, we recommend that you apply with a group of friends.
Campus View Apartments caters for students at the UQ Clinical School and the USQ Ipswich Campus. It is also an ideal choice for interns and other health care providers on rotation/placement at the Ipswich Public or St. Andrew’s Private hospitals.
Applications from students undertaking programs of study at other locations (including online pathways) are also considered. A valid student card/number must be supplied.
Children are not able to live at Campus View Apartments as we specifically cater for students and young professionals only.
